What is the Scanner Guard Card
The Scanner Guard Card is the size of a credit card that is designed to protect personal information stored on credit cards, debit cards, smart cards, RFID driver's licenses and any other RFID Cards from e-pickpocket thieves using handheld RFID scanners.
The Scanner Guard Card is half as thick as a standard credit card so it will not increase the size of your wallet. It is very flexible and durable.
The Scanner Guard Card is composed of a mixture of metals that disrupt the scanner from reading the RFID signals. There are outside and inside coatings of our patent pending metal mixture for protection of RFID personal information. This coating is not rigid, so the card is very flexible.

Wireless identity theft, also known as contact-less identity theft or RFID identity theft, is a form of identity theft described as "the act of compromising an individual's personal identifying information using wireless (radio frequency) mechanics. Basically, for around $40 a thief can purchase a RFID scanner, conceal it in a bag and when they walk past you they can scan your wallet or purse for credit cards, debit cards, smart cards, RFID driver’s licenses and any other RFID card.

A number of credit card companies now issue credit cards with embedded RFIDs (radio frequency ID tags), with promises of enhanced security and speedy transactions.
But on today's episode of Boing Boing tv, hacker and inventor Pablos Holman shows Xeni how you can use about $8 worth of gear bought on eBay to read personal data from those credit cards -- cardholder name, credit card number, and whatever else your bank embeds in this manner.
Fears over data leaks from RFID-enabled cards aren't new, and some argue they're overblown -- but this demo shows just how cheap and easy the "sniffing" can be.

OUR FIRST RESPONSE NEW PRODUCTS
Why have we introduced these new products?
According to the "Federal Trade Commission (FTC) 2006 Identity Theft Report" (latest full data report), seventy-four percent (74.0%) of all victims never filed a police report. While "Identity Theft" continues be the fastest growing crime in America, most consumers do nothing or don't care until they become victims. The American consumer has become their worst enemy when it comes to "Identity Theft".
The American consumer has been hood-winked by the credit card and banking industries by telling consumers, they are looking out for your interest (they are protecting their interest, not yours). Just look at the recent credit card interest rate hikes of seven to ten percent (7.0% to 10.0%). Millions of Americans are paying hundred of millions of dollars a year for credit monitoring services but only eleven percent (11.0%) of all "ID Theft Victim Theft" was discovered by these credit monitoring services (Source: FTC). According to Consumer Union, credit monitoring services are not a deterrent from stopping "ID Thieves" from accessing your credit bureau files and opening up new accounts.
In response to this latest information, we have added these two new, one-time, low cost products to our catalog.
We have added a colorful postcard magnet ($9.95) you can place on your refrigerator with emergency phone numbers. If and when you become a "Victim of Identity Theft", you can use the sources provided to notify both federal (SSN, passports, etc.) and state agencies (drivers license) that must be contacted to minimize damage quickly to your key personal identifying information (PII). We call it, "Your ID Theft First Response Team Alert System".
Our other new product, "ID Theft First Response Survival Kit" ($79.95) will take the fear out of becoming a "Victim of Identity Theft". This kit was designed to contain all of your financial account information, pin/access codes, phone numbers, etc., which will enable YOU (if needed), to close all of your accounts in less than an hour (bank accounts, debit and credit cards can be closed in less than 30 minutes).
We cannot stop "Identity Theft", but we can make it extremely difficult for "Identity Thieves" to use your stolen financial instruments (checking account, credit and debit cards). These financial tools will allow you to take control of your financial security quickly if and when "Identity Theft" strikes you and your family.

SEMINAR VENUE INFORMATION
All seminars in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex (currently ten venues-QUICK LINK TO SHOPPING CART) will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. (See DFW venue schedules below).
Due to the number of victims of this security breach, we will use the same venues (hotels) to add additional seminars between now and November 2011. We will also add Monday and Wednesday's nights to our present schedule (6:00 PM to 10:00 PM) if needed.
No "ID Theft Victims Workshops" will be conducted state wide for this seminar series.

TEXAS COMPTROLLER SECURITY BREACH
APRIL 11, 2011
AUSTIN — Social Security numbers and other personal information for 3.5 million people were inadvertently disclosed on a publicly accessible state computer server for a year or longer, Comptroller Susan Combs revealed Monday.
The information breach — believed to be the most extensive ever in Texas and one of the largest of its kind nationally — included names, addresses and Social Security numbers of all those on the list. In some cases, dates of birth and driver’s license numbers were also listed.

ATTENTION ALL SEMINAR ATTENDEES
The seminar city locations being scheduled are based upon reaching the largest number of members (Victims) of the "Texas Comptroller Security Breach". These seminars will also be available to the general public who were not victims of this security breach but have been victims of other security breaches (See Privacy Rights Clearinghouse press release dated June 27, 2011 - "22.4 Million Records Breach So Far This Year (2011)".
Public support for these "ID Theft Awareness and Educations Seminars" is needed in each host city so we can set aside part of the proceeds to host our "Identity Theft Victims Support Group Workshops" (ID Theft Victims Only) which are free to victims.
Because of the economic downturn in the U.S. , meeting space through-out Texas is currently available for this large scale attack on protecting "Vicitms of Identity Theft". This is a one time occassion for "Victims of Identity Theft" to get the help they need and to also help others who are in the same situation. If you miss these seminars, the financial security of you and your family could be at risk. These large-scale seminar presentations will not be repeated.
